Privacy Policy
1. Data We Collect

1.1. The Company collects only the data necessary for the operation of the protektVPN service:

  • email address — for authentication and communication with the User;
  • Telegram ID — when authenticating via the Telegram service;
  • payment information — in certain cases when processing payments through Stripe or Apple. The Company does not store bank card data;
  • push notification tokens — for delivering notifications to the User.

1.2. The User has the right to correct or delete their personal data within the application or by contacting support at [email protected].

2. Data We Do NOT Collect (No-Log Policy)

2.1. The Company maintains a strict No-Log Policy. When the User utilizes the VPN connection, the Company does not collect, record, store, or monitor the following data:

  • browsing history and visited websites;
  • network traffic content;
  • DNS queries;
  • IP addresses assigned to the User upon connection to the VPN server;
  • the User's original (real) IP address;
  • connection timestamps to specific resources;
  • volume of data transmitted in relation to specific sessions or resources.

2.2. This policy is a fundamental principle of the protektVPN service and is enforced by the infrastructure architecture, which eliminates the technical capability of maintaining such logs.

2.3. The Company has no ability to determine which resources the User visited, what data was transmitted or received, or to identify the User based on their network activity.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1. The application utilizes a third-party analytics service, Branch, which may collect the following data:

  • device Advertising ID;
  • IP address.

3.2. This data is collected solely within the scope of the application and is not related to the User's network activity while using the VPN connection.

3.3. Detailed information regarding data processing by Branch is available in the Branch Privacy Policy.

4. Purpose of Data Use

4.1. Collected data is used exclusively for the operation of the service: authentication, payment processing, delivery of notifications, and User support.

4.2. The Company does not use User data for marketing purposes and does not disclose it to third parties, except as specified in Section 3 of this Policy.

5. Data Security

5.1. Ensuring the security of User data is a priority for the Company. Appropriate organizational and technical measures are implemented to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of data.

6. User Rights

6.1. The User has the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact [email protected].

7. Third-Party Requests

7.1. The Company is incorporated and operates under the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Company is governed exclusively by the applicable laws of this jurisdiction.

7.2. As the Company does not log User network activity (see Section 2), the Company does not possess the technical capability to determine which User accessed any particular resource or to identify the content of transmitted traffic.

7.3. Upon receiving requests from third parties, including rights holders and government authorities, the Company is unable to identify the User or provide information about their network activity, as such data does not exist pursuant to the No-Log Policy (Section 2).

8. Age Restrictions

8.1. The service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. The Company does not knowingly collect personal data from minors. Any such data identified shall be promptly deleted.
